Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh BJP president Kaling Moyong formally presented the party nomination ticket to Tai Tagak on June 6. Tagak will serve as the BJP candidate for the state's only seat in the Rajya Sabha.
Moyong praised the nominee for his long history of service to the organization. He highlighted that Tagak is a steadfast and committed party worker who has dedicated decades of service to strengthening the BJP across Arunachal Pradesh. According to the state president, Tagak’s grassroots efforts and loyalty during difficult periods paved the way for this candidacy.
The party leadership expects Tagak to become a powerful advocate for regional interests in the Upper House of Parliament. Moyong expressed confidence that the candidate will effectively raise concerns regarding state development and the aspirations of the local people on the national stage.
