Arunachal Chief Minister Orders Rescue Operations Following Keyi Panyor Flash Flood

Itanagar: A sudden flash flood hit the Poosa area in the Keyi Panyor district on Wednesday morning, triggering an urgent state-led rescue operation. Chief Minister Pema Khandu stated he was "deeply distressed" by the disaster.

Authorities have deployed local police, medical teams, and the State Disaster Response Force to the scene. Workers from NEEPCO and the district administration are also clearing the site to help trapped residents. Khandu confirmed that search and rescue efforts are ongoing.
