Amit Shah and JP Nadda Set for Official Shillong Visit

Shillong: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Health Minister JP Nadda will travel to Shillong this Thursday for a day of official engagements. The visit includes attendance at several high-level meetings focused on regional development and healthcare.

Amit Shah is slated to participate in the 73rd Plenary Session of the North Eastern Council held at the State Convention Centre. He is also expected to lead the Society Meeting of the North Eastern Space Applications Centre during his time in the city.

JP Nadda will oversee a Parliamentary Consultative Committee meeting and plans to visit the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences. Additionally, he will join senior BJP leader Alexander Laloo Hek to inaugurate the ARHI Hospital located in the Ri-Bhoi district.
