ALIMCO Sets July Disability and Senior Aid Camps in Kohima

Kohima: ALIMCO is rolling out aid camps across Kohima district this July. The state-run outfit plans to hand out gear under the ADIP and Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana schemes. They want to help locals with disabilities and seniors over age 60. Grab your gear soon.

The agency scheduled stops at Council Hall, Sechu Zubza on July 1, and the District Social Welfare Conference Hall on July 2 and 4. Further sessions hit the CDPO office in Chiephobozou on July 3, ending at the Jakhama CDPO office on July 6.

Folks seeking help under the ADIP scheme need a UDID card or enrollment number. You must show a medical certificate proving at least 40 percent disability. Bring an Aadhaar card, two photos, and proof of income under Rs. 22,500 monthly.

Seniors using the RVY scheme need an Aadhaar card, income proof under Rs. 15,000, or a BPL card. Officials made the call for locals to arrive prepared. "Eligible beneficiaries have been requested to attend the camps with the necessary documents for availing the benefits."
