Shillong: Air Force School Upper Shillong needs new staff. The school is currently accepting applications for the roles of headmistress, teachers, and special educators for the 2026 session. Positions are filling up. Applicants must act fast.
The headmistress role requires a graduate degree with 50 percent marks, a B.Ed, and specific teaching experience. Candidates need two years of experience as a PGT, TGT, or PRT, or three years as an NTT. Alternatively, two years of service as an Air Force School principal works.
Contractual roles are open for TGT Sanskrit and Social Studies. Applicants for these spots need a degree with 50 percent marks in their subject and the aggregate, plus a B.Ed. Special Educator candidates must hold certifications from the RCI, such as a diploma in teaching young children or a certificate in care giving.
Interested candidates should mail their application forms and necessary documents to the school. Include one self-addressed envelope with a Rs. 10 postage stamp.
