Agartala: Agartala Mayor Dipak Majumder kicked off the Stop Diarrhoea Campaign 2026 today. The city government is pushing hard to stop preventable illness in its tracks. Majumder expects results.

The mayor called for total community involvement to win this fight. He pushed for better local awareness and faster responses to health threats in the city. Keeping families safe is the top priority.

Local leaders stressed that clear communication remains the best tool. The city plans to use every resource to boost public hygiene and sanitation. Residents must stay alert.

"The campaign aims to reduce cases through proactive community engagement," stated Majumder during the launch event. City officials will now move into neighborhoods to share information and help locals prevent outbreaks before they start.
