Kohima: Nagaland advisor Hekani Jakhalu recently met with state legislators to emphasize their role in driving local progress. During an interactive session held in Kohima on May 26, Jakhalu highlighted the importance of active legislative involvement in the effective implementation of government initiatives.
The discussion focused on the UNNATI 2024 scheme and the PM Vishwakarma project. Jakhalu encouraged the assembly members to take a hands-on approach to ensure these programs reach their intended beneficiaries across the region. She argued that elected officials should serve as catalysts to bridge the gap between policy design and ground-level impact.
