Imphal: ABVP Manipur wrapped up its four-day state training camp on June 21. More than 150 volunteers met at the UNACCO School in Chanung to sharpen their leadership skills. The group included student representatives from 10 districts, covering six universities, 14 colleges, and eight schools.
Top brass from the organization kicked off the event. North East Zonal Organising Secretary Kamal Nayan, State Organising Secretary Bhagwat Singh, and State President Prof. Premlata joined NEC Special Invitee Dr. Thiyam David to guide the participants. They set the tone early. The sessions pushed for a mix of social responsibility and innovation.
Experts led talks throughout the week. RSS leaders Mrityunjay and Binanda Khundrakpam, alongside Lt. Gen. (Retd.) L. Nishikanta Singh, shared insights with the attendees. Dr. T. Brajakumar from the Environment and Climate Change department and Youth Affairs Director Dr. Veto Mayengbam also took the stage. Cubeten Technologies head Haobam Joyremba rounded out the guest list. These speakers pushed the students to "cultivate discipline, social responsibility, innovation and a spirit of service" to help build both the state and the nation.
