Agartala: Tensions escalated at Ramakrishna Mahavidyalaya in Kailashahar on Monday as the local unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organized a major protest against Tripura University. Demonstrators, including key student leaders such as Pramatosh Pal, Sneha Sutradhar, and Anupam Majumdar, gathered in front of the office of Principal Dr. Ajit Barman to voice their frustrations regarding systemic failures within the university administration.

The protest, which involved over one hundred students, centered on accusations that the university is jeopardizing the academic futures of its students. Participants expressed outrage over persistent delays in the publication of examination results and the frequent appearance of unexplained backlog statuses for students who completed their papers. Beyond these errors, protesters cited a lack of online accessibility and significant discrepancies in marks as evidence of administrative negligence.
