Guwahati: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Dhubri Nagar branch recently concluded a one-day training camp at the Seemanta Chetna Manch, gathering students and youth activists from across the town. The event featured technical sessions and interactive workshops centered on organizational ideology, leadership development, and student engagement.
Key ABVP figures including Bhaskar Sarkar, Samiran Nath Dev Sharma, and Kaushik Prasad Bin guided the participants through discussions on the role of youth in social development. During the final session, the organization dissolved the existing town committee to establish a new executive team for the Dhubri unit.
Dr. Dipankar Mallick has been named the new President, with Roshan Roy stepping into the role of Town Secretary. The committee features several additional appointments, including Vice-Presidents Parthajit Bora, Dipta Roy, Kaustab Das, and Anuradha Sharma, alongside various secretaries and department leads tasked with managing media and social outreach.
Addressing the attendees, Bhaskar Sarkar emphasized the organization's broader goals. "ABVP is not merely a student organization but a movement dedicated to nation-building," Sarkar stated. The new office-bearers concluded the event by taking a formal pledge to uphold the core principles of knowledge, character, and unity while working to improve educational standards and student welfare.
